This is the home of the Transportation Research Thesaurus (TRT) and of Information Designs Limited's Thesaurus Viewer program. Here you will find available for downloading the latest versions of both the TRT thesaurus data files and the Viewer program. These and other vocabulary control and authority files are available on the Files page.UPDATE: Version 3.0 of the TRT and the Viewer are now available from the 3.0 Files page.
A team of lexicographical, subject, and software development experts developed the TRT as part of the National Cooperative Highway Research Program administered by the Transportation Research Board of the National Academy of Sciences. The prime contractor for it was CDBEnterprises.
Everything here is available for download free of charge. In return, we ask that you go to the Comments page and enter your name, affiliation, and email address so that we can notify you when new versions of the program and data files become available.
